THE PUFFER COAT DILEMMA
It’s that time of year again, when your faithful autumn coat sadly no longer is sufficient to keep you warm in the apricity. It's time to change style for comfort; also known as the puffer coat. Even though British Vogue states that the puffer radiates a “I’d-rather-be-in-bed” attitude, that apparently is cool for some, for me sadly this highly practical coat is just one thing; ugly.

Every year I panic at this time, my impeccable and loyal autumnal coat - that never fails to deliver a spot on chic outfit, with its tailored structure and waist belt, gets brutally replaced with something so far from flattering, I would like to compare it to a walking duvet and introduce myself as “The Michelin Man” rather than me.

However, for a Swede like myself, they are a mere survival tool for the winter, and despite my unapproval of the style, the comfort and protection for the unpredictable winter ahead is undeniable. Thanks to “And Just Like That…”, where a snowstorm swipes over New York and Sarah Jessica Parker steps out in a Moncler creation so fabulous that in the end I have to agree with British Vogue, bed can look cool.
